With the arrival of COVID, and the apparent foredooming of touring and much of what supports life in the music industry, we started checking in more with each other and decided it was a good time to start culling through unfinished sessions and began passing overdubs back and forth. Through this musical exercise in preserving sanity, an album started to take shape. As the days and .WAV files passed, our conversations progressed through concerns about the pandemic, lost gigs, and the minutiae of creating maximalist electro, jazz, and R&B, to talks about how to affirm the cultural inheritance of our influences.
